Resilience is defined as “the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties.” If there is one thing that ministry leaders need right now, it is resilience! In a rapidly changing environment, the ability to bounce back and keep moving forward is essential.
Psychology Today states that, “Resilience is made up of five pillars: self- awareness, mindfulness, self-care, positive relationships and purpose. By strengthening these pillars, we in turn, become more resilient.” One way to do this is to learn more about your own social and emotional intelligence in order to leverage your strengths while addressing areas of needed growth.
In April, Pinnacle’s Coaching Coordinator Ircel Harrison will offer a four-week workshop entitled “Developing Personal Resilience through Social and Emotional Intelligence.” The workshop is designed to help you become more resilient by assessing your social and emotional intelligence, then developing a growth plan.
Each participant will complete the Social + Emotional Intelligence Profile online ($50 value) prior to the first session. You will join a group coaching experience to reflect on your personal social and emotional intelligence in four areas—self-awareness, self-management, relationship management, and other awareness, then set change goals and receive support from your coach and other group members.
The group is limited to five online participants.
The four coaching sessions (ninety minutes each) are scheduled for Wednesdays at 9:30 am EST/8:30 am CST—April 7, 14, 21, 28.
The cost for participation is $250.
