Many pastors and church leaders dread talking about money.  Many more lay people dread hearing about it.  At the same time, we all know that money is necessary for every congregation to accomplish what God has called it to do.  Therefore, many leaders approach “stewardship season” or capital campaigns as events to be endured in order to get to the real ministry.  

What if there were a different way?  What if you never needed to have a capital campaign again?  What if generosity were so incorporated into your church’s culture and way of making disciples that it flowed naturally from your process of making disciples?  What if your church’s generosity wasn’t just spoken of as money coming in, but more importantly as ministry going out in outwardly facing missional impact?  What if missional giving didn’t compete with operational and capital giving, but each helped the other grow?
