Rev. Dr. Kevin Cosby is the President of Simmons College of Kentucky, one of our nation’s historic black colleges and universities (HBCU). Dr. Cosby is also the Pastor of St. Stephen Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Rev. Jason Crosby is the Pastor of Crescent Hill Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Together with other local clergy, Dr. Cosby and Rev. Crosby are a part of EmpowerWest, a coalition of Louisville area pastors and churches seeking to unleash the educational, economic, and spiritual power of West Louisville residents so that they might maximize their God-given potential and capacity.
During Rhonda’s interview with Dr. Cosby and Rev. Crosby, they discuss critical race theory, reparations, and what white pastors can do to become better allies with the black community.
