What is guided imagery?

 Guided imagery is a tool by which we enlist the wonderful power of our imaginations. People use it to relieve stress, gain insight, and decrease pain. Some hospitals use guided imagery as a part of their treatment process. Research shows guided imagery can have a positive impact on “health, wellness, attitude, and healing.” (From the Stanford Medicine website.)
