Individual Clergy and Lay Leaders, plus Church Staff Teams are invited to this event.

Clergy, church staff, and lay leaders are highly sensitized to the need for effective leadership in today’s ministry environment. Motivated leaders are life-long learners, interested in personal and professional growth. The insights gained from the Peoplemap Personality Inventory lend themselves to this kind of leadership growth. Participants take the brief inventory at the beginning of this event, followed by substantive learning and application. We at Pinnacle have used many personality and competency based inventories for training over the years, finding the Peoplemap quickly moves participants to personal and team insights which facilitate positive movement.

Come join us for a day of great learning, coming away with clear insights for using your gifts to advance the mission of your church’s ministry. Here is more information about the Peoplemap.

Mission advancement is the goal for most of us as we work. Interpersonal relationships, influenced by our communication skills are the means by which most of our work is accomplished. Ministers, church staffs, lay leadership teams, and entire congregations who want to grow more effective in mission advancement can do so by increasing their communication skills. The PeopleMap Communication System is designed to strengthen communication skills and interpersonal relationships. The result: greater mission advancement.

How Does PeopleMap Work?

PeopleMap is a powerful, yet fun and practical learning program. Each participant completes the same seven item questionnaire. This inventory, with 95% accuracy in identifying your personality type, is designed to show each person’s way of relating to others, solving problems, leading and getting work accomplished. Each person’s questionnaire is immediately self-scored to determine their personality type: Leader, People, Free Spirit, Task

What participants gain from Peoplemap Training:

✓ Your PeopleMap Inventory and workbook style feedback information

✓ Greater understanding of self and your communication tendencies

✓ Strengths and weaknesses of your personality type

✓ Insights for communicating with others who are not your personality type

✓ How to use the Hard and Soft People Skills in your work

✓ Strengthening your teams

✓ Conflict prevention and management

✓ Increased Mission Advancement

Cultivating Cultures Of Excellence In Church Staff Teams - Eight Key Practices Of High Functioning Teams

We want to be on THAT church staff team; the one where great ministry is done, people are making their best contributions to the church’s progress, and where effective and satisfying relationships make everything better. Yes, THAT team. The good news is this is very possible. The other news is that these kinds of staff team cultures don’t appear by accident. Intentional cultivation is required.

This learning experience for church staffs is designed to give you a boost, strengthening your resolve while learning the 8 best practices of high functioning and effective church staff teams. Join other church staffs of various denominations for a robust learning experience which will strengthen your church staff team.

Mark Tidsworth has provided learning experiences for church staffs over the last 21 years. This event is an opportunity for Mark to share the best practices rising up from these experiences. Ongoing development of your team will be enhanced through Mark’s forthcoming book, Cultivating Cultures Of Excellence In Church Staff Teams, from Pinnacle Leadership Press.

Though this event is designed for staff teams, individual clergy who are interested in learning more about leading a staff team will find this helpful and are welcome to join us.
